Questions people ask
- Do I need their address?
- Not if you send a gift link: they fill in their own delivery details, and we never show them to you. Gift links are offered where the delivery fee does not depend on the address; elsewhere, choose direct delivery to an address you already have.
- Will they have to pay customs?
- Possibly. Gifts to Sao Tome and Principe are shipped in from abroad, and Sao Tome and Principe may charge an import fee when the parcel arrives.
- Do they need an app or an account?
- No. The link opens in whatever they already have on their phone. There is nothing to download and nothing to sign up for.
- What if they do not accept it?
- Once your bank approves the hold, a gift link stays open until the deadline on your tracking page: up to 72 hours, or less if your card needs the hold settled sooner. If it is not accepted in time, we cancel the gift and the hold, and you are not charged.
