How it works
How a Vela gift
travels
Ahmad is in Dubai. His sister Emma is in London. Four steps stand between them, and only the last one is hers — the gift is made and delivered inside Emma's own city, and her address stays hers.

Choose someone, and a gift
Add Emma once — her name, how you know her, the city she lives in. Vela remembers her birthday is 4 October, and says so in time.

One price, in dollars, on the card you already use. It covers the gift, the wrapping and delivery inside London. Nothing is owed when it arrives.

Share a private link
Vela gives you one link. Send it however you already talk to her — WhatsApp, iMessage, email. It opens in a browser, and only she has it.

Questions people ask
- What if they decline?
- Nothing ships, and the full amount goes back to the card you paid with. Emma is never asked to give a reason, and you are told plainly either way.
- Can I change the gift?
- Until it is accepted, yes — swap it and the same link updates itself. After that the local supplier has already started making it up.
- Does it cross a border?
- No. A supplier in the recipient's own city makes and delivers every gift, so there is no customs queue, no duty and no import wait.
- What does the recipient see?
- Your name, your note and the gift itself — never the price, and never a sign-up form. Only the address fields are theirs to fill in.
